You know this
“The list gets longer, the day does not.”
Every thing is as big as its time. You see right away what fits into today.
“Where on earth do I start?”
One block is yellow: that one is due now. One button, and you get going.
“The evening feeling: got nothing done.”
You see what you got done. What is left moves to tomorrow without nagging.
Try it
One sentence is enough. The block lands in your day. Check it off when it is done.
1 of 3 done
No pressure
No red, no nagging, no streaks that drop to zero after one bad day. What is left waits for tomorrow. Good for everyone with a full head, also when starting is hard, for example with ADHD.

Simply bring your tasks along – from Todoist, TickTick, Google Tasks or a piece of paper. DayBlock reads CSV files and plain lists, and takes its own backup back too. Completed items stay out automatically, nothing is overwritten.
Good days, a clear head – about planning, focus and routines
For years I had four apps at once: one for tasks, one for routines, one for notes, one for habits. Every morning I still stood there not knowing where to start. Everything was calling at once, and my head shut down.
What finally helped was something very simple: cutting the day into blocks. One block, one thing. Then the next. DayBlock is the tool I wished I had for that.
About me: I studied computer science and have been developing software in medicine for many years. My topics are patient safety, data protection and security – as a security champion I use threat modelling to work out where data could be attacked, before someone else does.
That is why I never liked many well-known tools: usually the provider can read everything, and the data sits on servers in the USA. I wanted something secure: end-to-end encrypted, on a server in Germany, without a corporation using your entries for training or selling. Only you can read your entries – not even I can.

Yes. DayBlock reads your list from Todoist, TickTick and similar apps (as a CSV file or simply pasted text) and also restores its own DayBlock backup.
